Whether it’s a your job or your company, passions should lead the way.
We are all more at ease in our comfort zone. So, when we are faced with what to do next we usually look toward what we know.
Often, this will lead to a major problem with us moving forward.
Because when it is time to look for that new job, or career or if we’ve decided it’s finally time to control our own financial destiny and start our own business we are often forced to make a decision.
Should I focus on the thing I have done for all these years; thus, the thing you know and the thing at which you are likely pretty good. Or, should you start following a brand new compass and allow yourself to be guided by your passions?
This seems to cross people up quite a bit because they assume that the thing they are good at is naturally the direction they should follow.
And, if you happen to love that same thing than it can be a perfect marriage.
However, a lot of the time we are following the thing that is more comfortable to do although we certainly don’t love doing it and it doesn’t necessarily fulfill any of our dreams. It’s just the thing we know which is better than the unknown…even though the unknown could be 10 times better.
This mini-course will clearly show the difference between a strength and a passion, why it’s important to separate them and figure out which one is the right thing to light you up and make you be a better you.
In the comments below let me know of a time when you were faced with a difficult decision to either follow a strength and keep doing what you were doing or take a completely different path and begin to chase after your true passion, okay?
If you are currently going after your passion right now let me know what it is and what the tipping point was for you to make that decision.
